Conspiracy Theories Manual (Part 1)
A serialized compendium of the most fascinating conspiracies that keep us awake at night. Or not.
A science magazine says: “Experts believe that people have gravitated to this idea because some find it hard to believe that an ancient civilization had the means to build such grand structures that have endured thousands of years later. Historians believe the pyramids took around 85 years to build and were constructed sometime between 2589 and 2504 BC — making them more than 4,000 years old.
Prominent figures including Elon Musk and Joe Rogan have in recent years pedaled this conspiracy theory. After Musk tweeted in 2020 that “Aliens built the pyramid obv,” Egyptian officials responded, offering to show him the evidence against that theory — including the tombs found underneath the pyramids. While some may write off the conspiracy as being just that, some believe it’s rooted in racism. Grand structures that were built in ancient Greece and Rome seem to be immune to similar conspiracy theories, and experts believe it “perpetuates a very Eurocentric view of other cultures”, including Egypt, the Mayans, and the Incas.”
My Perception
In this series, I'll present the most fascinating conspiracies that will provoke discussions anywhere, even at the dinner table, which Dad declared off-limits. We can't help it. We are curious beings. But the fascination with these amazing monuments and their inner contents is not subsiding anytime soon.
We love letting our imaginations run wild, and the more we learn about them, the more intricate they become.
Since unresolved mysteries bother us, we often like to play detective. We certainly love to bring the news, if any, to our relatives and friends. We love to show off.
It makes it sound like we are knowledgeable on the subject, intelligent, and studious, and when we get the praise we think we deserve, that's enough fuel to keep us going. Ahh, human nature!
However, even the most strict sceptic must eventually admit that the Egyptian pyramids are so remarkable that we can't—to this day—decipher them once and for all.
Why?
Reasons and Motivations
Foremost, we are talking about a country that prides itself on its history and antiquity, and for good reason. Second, it's not known for being the most open democracy in the globe, and third, they try to keep it under wraps, for the more of a mystery they are, the more tourist money they get. Simple equation.
They also have to monitor visitors, including prestigious scientists, because they can't allow too many foreign hands to manipulate and, by association, damage precious architecture, sacred tombs, and other relics. And who can blame them?
Permits must be issued and renewed frequently to prevent mishaps and protect the incredible history of the enormous structures on the plateaus west of the Nile.
There's a queue of academics waiting for those permits, and according to what we have learned lately, there are chambers that are completely inaccessible to anyone except Egyptian officials and select government people.
The corner of the Sphinx's left foot is one such case. There is no longer any access to it.
When the Egyptian authorities declared it off limits, scientists were already working under it and told to get out in no uncertain terms and very certain manners. Supposedly, they were on the cusp of making a tremendous discovery, but the Egyptians were already aware. They couldn't allow them to go any further. What they found, they're not at liberty to say.
Unsurprisingly, this has stirred up a storm in the archaeological community, and petitions have been exchanged so far with no tangible or positive results.
Are they hiding something? The answer, in the lips of many, is yes, definitely.
The Alien connection
To this day, there's no way to replicate it, not even close to doing so, by any human means. It's not possible, regardless of what equipment one would choose to use. It just can't be done.
The immense blocks in size and weight make such an endeavour an unconquerable one.
It stands to reason that if we can't possibly do it today, what are the chances that they've done it in the past?
Slave human labour was debunked long ago, as the number of hands needed for such a feat would have been extraordinary in scope. Egyptians didn't have such a disposition of free labour available.
That only leaves one possibility. They had help. But who?
The alien constructing the pyramids is not a new notion, and that goes for the Sphinx as well.
