Hello, luv! Miss you! But yes, this had to be said. Trapping and hunting with bow and arrows in 2024? What kind of maniac does that? Worse. For "sport" or profits.

Totally agree. Miss you on my memoir. Come on over 💕.

Brutally honest. Pun intended. ✌️

It has to stop. This permitted insanity should be criminalized. Killing for the pleasure of it? Really??

I agree with you.

We lived 18 years next to an illegal dog breeder. I've written about it. I have stories and ptsd from it. City of L.A. is like a 3rd world country. Homeless drug addicts are getting dog breeding licenses and tying up dogs on the streets, force breeding, to sell for a hit. 🚬 Most of the puppies die.

There is nothing I have zero tolerance for except the breeding industry. With a vengeance. Animals are euthanized daily all day long in shelters. Many living in small cages not able to stand up in hallways of our county shelters. These are the worst of times for animals and so many dumped, abused and dying on the streets. Thrown in the trash.

I also am very disturbed by what is happening with horses. The Amish are a brutal bunch and I've investigated a lot about them. I try and support Colby's Crew (ohkaytacos on Instagram) It is utterly heartbreaking and these people are angels.

The way we treat animals is a reflection of who we are.

These are spiritually empty and wicked days. I hope, pray and try to live for heaven. I could go on and on. Thank you for your heart.

OMG! How disconcerting to have had those experiences.

LA wasn't like that when I lived there. But that was back in the early 90s. OMG, how horrible. It's apocalyptical, really.

You said that right! It is apocalyptical 😔

I totally agree with what you’ve written. Being a vegetarian for decades, I do not wish to inflict any harm on any animal.

Don't let me see anyone shooting them with a bow and arrow, or trapping them bc I'll go to jail, but I'll take that person down.

A long time ago I started watching undercover videos of horrific abuse in breeding and slaughter of animals. I love my pets like they were my children. But for anyone to eat a Hamburger and have no idea what they are eating is disturbing to me. I mean baby animals die just for someone to drink milk everyday. When humans take this world for granted and refuse to see the glory of this world or even appreciate it, then it is time for humans to be destroyed. I see God in every animal’s eyes, I hear God in the songs of birds, I feel God in the breezes. As I always seek God daily, I have never found Him in man. I have found Him in all natural creation. A world full of hope and love, I fear I will never see.

Go further back and beyond and ask yourself who's at fault here? The people will always follow whatever gives them comfort and pleasure. Most don't think of animals as sentient beings. They don't even notice the horrific sound a lobster makes when it's been boiled alive. To them, animals are here for our consumption only. But that's a fallacy that huge corporations promote for the sake of profits. We will not evolve until we cease and desist from eating our own planet co-habitants.

Thank you for your comment! x

This is beautifully said. It makes me think of “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” PKD - to get to a point where we’ve killed all the animals with our behavior and then create fake animals to keep ourselves company. Rare animals traded in catalogues as if they are goods and services. I sincerely hope we can curve/pivot our behavior in another direction before it’s too late. Choosing to hope.

Thank you for your words,

Em
