Rene, which one are you? Inherently optimistic or pessimistic? It almost seems an even middle ground. Glad though you went through it and came out the other side.

I’ve always considered myself more of a realist and always try to stay hopeful. I think it’s perfectly normal for the pendulum to swing in both directions - it isn’t healthy to be miserable all the time but I think someone who is always happy isn’t truly in touch with his/her feelings. So, I guess it’s best to be somewhere in the middle - where both our positive and negative feelings are given the required space.🩵

There's a certain type of sadness that is, actually, healthy. Even positive, IMO. The problem is when a person gets addicted to drama for drama’s sake. Such attitude is not only detrimental but also corrosive to everyone around.
