Rene, which one are you? Inherently optimistic or pessimistic? It almost seems an even middle ground. Glad though you went through it and came out the other side.
It wasn't clear? I'm the eternal optimist! My attitude towards life is optimal, particularly since I had a severe stroke. Thank you for your comment. 💜
I’ve always considered myself more of a realist and always try to stay hopeful. I think it’s perfectly normal for the pendulum to swing in both directions - it isn’t healthy to be miserable all the time but I think someone who is always happy isn’t truly in touch with his/her feelings. So, I guess it’s best to be somewhere in the middle - where both our positive and negative feelings are given the required space.🩵
There's a certain type of sadness that is, actually, healthy. Even positive, IMO. The problem is when a person gets addicted to drama for drama’s sake. Such attitude is not only detrimental but also corrosive to everyone around.

Oh very happy to hear.
Well done, fellow optimist, and love the Vivekananda quote 🕉
Kindred minds think alike. 🌱 re: Om; I have it tattooed on my calf! Then I was told it's best to place it as high on your body as possible. Oops!
Thank you for this sweet reminder that we can change to be better. We just have to pick ourselves up first before we blame the world.
💯...Thank you!

Agreed. Just like someone who maintains a victim mentality throughout life.
Thank you for the reminder, that it is as we want and expect it to be!
