I was just thinking the other day that I don't laugh as much as I used to. While Arya can make me laugh, as do the squirrels and birds that I feed, I feel I take life too seriously. I need to laugh more. From deep inside. Thanks for the reminder. Now maybe I should watch some Charlie Chaplin or Jerry Lewis.
100% agree! It seems to me that the older I get, the less seriously I take life. Back in my 30's and 40's everything seemed so important : the job stuff, the childrearing stuff, the staying fit stuff, the sense of civic responsibility- ALL of it. And, yes, a lot of that is true. I took my work and my family responsibilities seriously, as well I should have. Now I have more perspective (and maybe more time). I am lighter even as I am older. I wish I could have had this outlook back then but I think I had to live the years to get to this place. Thanks for your timely reminder.
As a child, I thought that to be smart was to be serious. My mom told me to lighten up! Laughter is a free gift to myself and to be shared with others. Your article enlightened us on the importance of that wonderful creation - laughter! Keep up the good work! B
Ahhh, Superb! Wish I could make you “lol”… but it ain’t happening! 😉
😂 .. yeah, right!
A great way to get the message out there! I liked the way you made it like a kid’s story but with a very adult message. 💟
Thank you! Sometimes that's the best approach.
Thank you. You are wise.
You are too kind. Thank you!
Hehehe

Indeed! There's a place and a time for everything. The big problem arrives when our souls are in discontent. Thanks for commenting!
Great story Rene and so true. Thank you.
Thanks, Lola. Much appreciated.
Just thanks for changing my perspective!!!
