Houdi wants a cat perch, on the windowsill. Where he can breath deep and remain safe. I built my cats an outdoor emporium (cathouse). It keep s them safe from predators, becoming a run-a-way and from falling off from a hot, red, tin roof.

All excellent points, but this is a parody. Thank you for your insightful comment, thou.

I'm considering something like this. If it's an outdoor structure, how does the cat access it? And is cold weather an issue?

Trevy Thomas, thank you for asking. What I have done is to replace the lower section of a N facing window, with a cat door, attached the wiring to the exterior of the N wall and placed a roof of screening over top. There are trees to climb, huts to hide and a bed to rest. I used sod for a flooring - The four of them love , love, love it!

Blessings ~

P.S.

No issues with hot or cold weather - I just shut the door.

My pleasure - Blessings ~

BTW: I built this alone, made the ceiling six feet tall. I can walk in and clean or whatever needs doing (trim trees, scoop poop, water grass), the W wall is made up of a small hut that opens into the bird sanctuary. While to E wall is fencing and a large door for humans to come and go. The North side is 18ft of fencing, with plenty of trees for other critters to peer in, as my cats enjoy the large screen television.

You are not alone in this. Only after I satisfied all her desires, she will let me be. And after I am being left alone for awhile, I am going back to hug her. The cycle continues.

Exactly. 💯

A draw in a battle of wits with a feline is impressive, indeed.
